Rev. Moon talked about the seriousness of the Hunger Problem and how to fix it. He even went as far as to say that:
Hunger is the most serious problem we face in the world today and in the future.
(281-092, 1997/01/02)
Solving the food crisis cannot be put off for
even a moment. Even now, some twenty thousand people around the world
die of hunger-related causes every day. We cannot afford to be apathetic just
because we and our immediate families are not facing hunger. (PLGC p.315)
The issue of food will present humankind with a very serious crisis in the future. We cannot build a world of peace without first resolving the food issue. (PLGC p.315)
Have you ever thought about why it is so important that the Hunger Problem is resolved, above many other problems that humanity faces in the current world? We often see hunger as some faraway problem that someone somewhere is trying to resolve, something we don't really need to worry about ourselves.
Let's dive into this problem to see why it might be the single most devastating problem we are facing in the world today, and why humanity hasn't been able to fix it so far, despite all the technological and economical advancements.
In this new video series, Oceanic View, we start off the series with "HUNGER," and then dive deeper into the topic throughout the series about HOW it actually can be resolved, and the methods in which the world of peace can be actually realized, a shortcut, established by Rev. Sun Myung Moon.
More episodes will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
Let's get into it!
